Our Story

Dark Beauty insights was created in 2023 by Kendra Warrick, a Virginia native. Kendra's motivation behind Dark Beauty Insights is wanting to end colorism and the idea that certain shades of brown are more acceptable than others. Kendra recalls experiencing colorism herself and feeling like her skin wasn't beautiful. Later in life, she learned to love the skin she was in and used natural beauty products to aid her confidence. This is what led Kendra to create her own brand of natural homemade products. 

Dark Beauty Insights specializes in homemade skin care products, such as body butters, soaps, scrubs, and more! 

Compared to others, Dark Beauty Insights' skin care products are light and subtle.
